Supported Living

Supports individuals living in their own home with daily living activities such as meal prep, transportation, housekeeping and more.
In order to prevent the impact and possible trauma that could arise from a major move or change in surroundings, it is frequently preferable for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to stay in their current living arrangements, whether in their own home or in the home of their family, as opposed to moving into a residential group home. For many people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, staying in their existing home may be the best option, but this is frequently not possible because more support and help would be required.
Our Place Homecare is committed to delivering compassionate care, tailored to each individual’s preferences and requirements, ensuring peace of mind for both clients and their families.
We provide Supported Home Living Services to help people with intellectual and developmental impairments live as independently as possible in their own homes by helping them with everyday tasks including eating, dressing, bathing, grooming, and maintaining personal hygiene, going to work or school. Each person has a different level and scope of Supported Home Living Services that are customized for them in their own plan.
Our services are tailored to each individual’s preferences and requirements, ensuring peace of mind for both clients and their families. We help with everyday tasks including:

*Meal Planning and preparation
*Assistance with housekeeping
*Encouraging inclusion in community activities
*Maintaining personal hygiene
*Transportation to work and other activities
*Development of socially valued behaviors

Day Habilitation

Day Habilitation gives individuals the chance to become more independent while simultaneously learning new skills. Participants feel more productive in their personal life as a result of increased knowledge and a greater feeling of duty to successfully engage in the community.

Day Habilitation is a structured community program that teaches people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to accomplish their goals under the guidance of trained, direct care providers. Day Habilitation classes emphasize the development of healthy living, decision-making, vocational training, community integration, self-confidence, exercise, and socializing skills.

Our Group Day Habilitation Program focuses on developing the following skills:
